Instructions: This form is to be used only by students who are admitted to the Graduate School. Students applying for admission should use the Application for Graduate Admission and Financial Aid form to apply for aid. Awards from the Graduate School are merit-based not need-based. They are awarded on academic record and future potential, not on financial need. Students on probation and non-degree students are not eligible for financial aid; however, non-degree students may apply for the Milwaukee Area Teachers Scholarship. Current financial aid recipients must reapply for any additional support beyond the amount indicated in their most recent award letter. Requests for further information should be directed to the Graduate School (414) 288-7137. The Graduate School will begin mailing decisions to applicants about one month after the application deadlines. Deadlines that fall on weekends are extended to 4:30 p.m. on the following Monday. Late applications for aid are accepted but applicants should be aware that departments begin reviewing applications and making their award decisions shortly after the application deadlines.
